Issue 8 has been successfully drawn, inked, and shaded! It will be appearing on the website in September. Kei-chan should be busy drawing and inking nine so it'll be ready in time. That's all for now.

PS Mei-chan is in Japan right now! And will be for the foreseeable future.

So....the site is having issues. Even though I have comics ready to be updated, it's just not updating them. I apologize, but I have no idea what the problem is. Hopefully it will just work itself out. Please be patient, and sorry for the delay of new comics, but I just wanted to let you know that it's not my fault. ^_^

The trade paperback is out and spiffy. It will be available at the next con, which should be in January. Also, it will eventually be available on the Comixpress website. Wheeeeeeee!

Yes, yes, I'm still here. I just haven't been updating because there isn't much to say. Unfortunately, Kei-chan and I won't be able to attend the November Big Apple, but the trade paperback is all done and will be available shortly. That is all.

So for some unexplainable reason, today's comic didn't get updated. There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't have, and I just doubled checked and yes, I did name it correctly. Hopefully it'll just work itself out. Sorry, guys.

Issue 7 is done and I put together the order for the trade paperback. I'll be sending out the CD to comixpress today so our plans for the trade are actually working out. To be honest, I'm surprised. I thought we wouldn't get it done on time, but we did. Let's just hope nothing goes wrong with the printing part of the process. ::Crosses fingers::

New Update Rules

So, starting on Monday, the updating of the comic is going to change. We will be updating Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and they will always be comic pages! Save, of course, a few sketches between issues. But, no longer will you have to suffer through sketches between story development. That is all. Enjoy.

ISSUE 7 IS COMPLETELY DRAWN!!!! Well, my part is anyway. Now Kei-chan has to go and add the backgrounds and then it's time for shading and inking and it'll be done. We're off to a good start with much progress made. Wish us luck!!

Big Apple Con

We return from Big Apple Con exhausted but feeling pretty good. We're going to be at another con in a few weeks in Secaucus NJ called MangaNext. This will be a new crowd of potential fans so we're pretty psyched. Too bad the trade paperback isn't ready yet. In fact, I don't think we can get issue six out in time for it either. Oh, wells. My resolve to get the trade out by November is strengthen, but unfortunately I am skeptical that it will happen. We shall see.

Issue six is officially done. If we work our little comic creating butts off, we may be able to get issue seven done by this time next month, which means trade paperback for the November Big Apple! Excitamajig! If we can't finish issue seven, there will at least be an issue six to buy. BUT! I believe in us, and I think if we really put our minds to it, we'll get it done. Wish us much luck!

So, it'll be a while before you all get to meet Adam, but today's comic was his five tattoos. Interesting note: one of my bestest friends has one of Adam's tattoos. She has the heart one with the kanji for love in it. Wheeeeeeeeeee!

Going to start drawing Issue 7 today. Hurrah, hurray. Also, I just wanted to say that the sketch picture today is Kei-chan's doing. It's a picture of Fyren's throne. He's very old school. He wanted a throne for his lair. We think he stole it from a museum or something. And it's drawn from a real throne. Hugs for anyone who actually figures out which one.

So, like I said: spurts. Within the next hour, I will have 18 pages of issue six complete, and since the rest of the six or whatever pages are with Kei-chan in California, that means that tomorrow I can move on to issue 7. I'm so psyched to start drawing issue 7. It's centered completely around our main "baddies", the Cult of the Black Rose. So I'm totally stoked to start drawing all the cult members. Eeeeeeee! Ta for now, all.

So page ten has just been completed. I know, I know, one page in, like, a week is not much to be proud of, but whatevs. I'll probably do some more work tomorrow. It happens in spurts, usually.

So, on another note, I love Clay's rant in today's comic. He rants alot. He's very good at it. I think that's why he gets a rep as a drama queen. Hee. Anyway, hope everyone's enjoying the comic and having fun. Off I go! Wheeeeeee!
